Congratulations to Maricel Abad, our recently elected HIC President! Maricel was recently chosen by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as Hawaii’s 2013 Childhood Immunization Champion. The award, given jointly by the CDC and the CDC Foundation, honors individuals who are doing an exemplary job of going above and beyond to promote or foster childhood immunizations in their communities.
